Award-Winning Writer To Launch New Children’s Book

An award-winning writer is launching her first children’s book in Market Harborough tonight.
Emily-Jane Clark from Clipston has previously written sketches for TV shows including Mock the Week and The Jonathan Ross Show, but always promised her two children she would pen a story for kids.

‘The Beasts Of Knobbly Bottom: Attack Of The Vampire Sheep is a story about a girl who moves with her family from Leicester to the country and soon discovers her new home is full of secrets.
The sheep are growing fangs, their eyes are turning red, and they’re plotting to take over the world!
It’s up to Maggie, her little sister Lily, neighbour Fred and a strange old lady called Nan Helsing – to save Knobbly Bottom and the world!
Inspiration for the story came from when Emily-Jane Clark moved from Northampton to the country when she was a child.
She told HFM she hopes the book will appeal to adults too and has teamed up with Quinn’s bookshop for tonight’s launch at Louisa’s Place on St Mary’s Road:
