Hundreds of people dressed head-to-toe in festive red and white for the Santa fun run in Market Harborough’s Welland Park on Sunday 8th. It was the sixth year the Hfm-backed event was held in support of local charity The Squires Effect. Over 400 people of all ages took part.

The annual Market Harborough Christmas Fayre took place on Friday December 6th. Thousands flocked into the town despite the earlier heavy rain that had threatened to put a dampener on the evening. There was lots of entertainment in multiple locations throughout the town. Here are some pictures from the event.

Fleckney Late Night Shopping held their late night shopping event on Thursday December 5th. The Fleckney Silver Band played a host of festive tunes and singer and guitar player Aimee Cliff entertained. Here are some pictures from the evening.

Kibworth held their Late Night Shopping event on Wednesday December 4th. Lots turned out to do some festive shopping whilst enjoying lots of entertainment.  

The Wigston Christmas Light “Switch-On” took place on Saturday November 30th. Bell Street was transformed with funfair rides, stalls, a visit from Santa and lots of fun. The latest group have just completed our “Introduction To Radio Broadcasting” course. HFM run the 4 week occasional course to give an insight into how a radio station works, and has been stepping stone for many previous attendees. The Market Harborough Christmas Lights were officially switched on at a ceremony at the Market Harborough Building Society on Friday November 22nd. Here are a few pictures from the evening and a short video of the big switch being thrown.
