Brookside Carpets and Curtains on St. Marys Road recently celebrated 40 years of trading. HFM went along on Saturday September 3rd to broadcast Graham Beebys morning show live from the premises.    

The annual charity fundraising event “Glastonblaby” took place on Saturday August 20th 2022. It was held at the Leicester Lions Rugby Football Club on Lutterworth Road in Blaby. New acts competed on the Travers Rising Stars stage for a spot on the main stage later in the day. Photo’s by Stu Reeves & Christine  

Juliette Maher organised the fundraiser in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal. Local singers performed on the HFM stage set up on the Square. There were refreshment stalls, as well as craft and other outlets. £1,964.03 was raised on the day, with the total now in excess of £2000.

There was a spectacular bonfire and firework display together with an aerobatic display at the Gliding Centre in Husbands Bosworth. November 2021
