Attempted Murder Charge After Rothwell Arrest

A man’s been charged with Attempted Murder after being arrested by armed Police in Rothwell on Saturday night.

Peter Campbell, who also had links to the Market Harborough area, – is accused of stabbing a man at the Esso garage on Oakley Road in Corby last Monday night.

The 30-year-old of no fixed abode, who is also accused of possessing a bladed article, will appear before Magistrates later.

The victim of the attack was left with life-changing injuries.

Police released a picture of Campbell last week, when they mounted a hunt for him.
