Men Charged After Car Stolen In Hallaton

Two men have been charged after a police chase with a car that was stolen in Hallaton.

Lee Annand, 31, of Beanfield Avenue, Corby and Jude Campbell, 19, of no fixed address, are both accused of aggravated vehicle taking.

Annand has also been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and failing to stop for Police.

It follows the theft of a Land Rover Discovery in Hallaton early on Monday morning, which was pursued by Police in Corby later in the day, and used to ram a patrol car.

The men will now appear before Magistrates.

The vehicle, which was recovered, was stolen during a crime spree in Hallaton, which also saw five cars broken into and various items stolen.
