Appeal After Woman Disturbs Burglar

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman came face to face with a burglar in her house in Desborough yesterday.

She returned home to the property on Rushton Road just before 6pm to find the man inside before he fled empty handed.

Officers say he broke into the house through a rear door and are keen to hear from anyone who saw a man running away from the area around the time.

Call Northants Police on 101 if you can help.
