Men Due In Court Over Sheep Butchery

Three men are due to appear at Crown Court today over the illegal slaughtering of sheep and lambs across Northamptonshire, including in Kelmarsh, Clipston and Welford.
23-year-old Robert Iordan, Florin Nutu, 35 and 38-year-old Voirel Manu, all from Birmingham, are accused of conspiracy to steal, in relation to the illegal butchery of animals over a four month period from June this year.
They were arrested last month following an incident in a field adjacent to the A14 near Welford.
The men are due at Northampton Crown Court.
