New CCTV Cameras Switched On
Written by HFM News on 14th November 2019
New CCTV cameras have been switched on in two parts of Market Harborough.
They’ve gone up in St Mary’s Road and at the Symington’s Recreation Ground, as part of an expansion of the town’s network of cameras by Harborough Council, costing £11,000.
Anti-social behaviour at the recreation ground earlier this year prompted the decision to install a permanent camera there.
Police requested St Mary’s Road was covered.
Market Harborough now has a network of 19 cameras, which are monitored round the clock.
