Free Parking To Support Harborough Shops

Free parking will be offered in Market Harborough on every Saturday through December, in a bid to encourage people to shop local.
They’ll be a slight change this year though, with a maximum stay of four hours in Harborough Council’s short-term car-parks, in a bid to stop people using them to then catch the train to shop elsewhere.
As a result, drivers will stay have to obtain a ticket from machines, despite not having to pay.
The first free parking day will be December 1st, which is Small Business Saturday – a national initiative to support independent retailers.
