Highway Bosses Act After Confusion For Drivers
Written by HFM News on 19th October 2018
As Market Harborough prepares for more traffic congestion this weekend, Highway bosses have pledged to make diversion signs clearer.
There was confusion for drivers last Saturday and Sunday as two sets of signs were placed at junctions.

Leicestershire County Council say symbols will be placed on those connected with the Leicester Road closure – in force from 7pm today til 6am on Monday – to make things clearer.
Kettering Road is also closed.
A spokesman told Hfm: “We’ve not received any traffic complaints with regards the closure of Leicester Road in Market Harborough, however, we have been made aware of an issue with the road diversion signs. To avoid any confusion we will be placing symbols on the Leicester Road diversion signs.
“We’ve worked really hard to minimise any disruption for all road users. We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause.”
