A snapshot of what life was like in Market Harborough nearly a hundred years ago has been uncovered at Harbrough Market!

The directory and almanac from 1921 includes a list of all shops and businesses, names and addresses of residents an a phone directory.

Jon Pollard, who is the Market Officer for Harborough Council, – bought it for £2 after noticing it on sale at the Market Hall’s Antiques and Collectables Market and will be donating it the museum for all to see.
