Man Faces Trial Accused Of Endangering Police Helicopter

A man will go on trial accused of endangering the lives of those on board the Police Helicopter based at Husbands Bosworth, by shining a laser pen at it.

Voyslav Dimitrov denied the offence when he appeared before Northampton Magistrates yesterday afternoon.

The 28-year old from Wellingborough was arrested in September after a green laser was shone into the cockpit while the helcopter was conducting a search over the town.

He’ll go on trial in January.
