Planning Appeal Into New Harborough Estate Delayed

Written by on 27th September 2018

A public planning appeal hearing into whether a new housing estate can be built in Market Harborough has been delayed.

It was due to be held next week by a government inspector, but will now take place at a later date.

They will decide whether 65 houses can go up at the top of Kettering Road, towards Clack Hill.

Landowners appealed the Council’s decision last year to refuse permission for them, on the grounds they would intrude badly into the exposed countryside location.
