Comments Invited On Pollution Action Plan

People in Kibworth are being urged to comment on an Action Plan aimed at dealing with pollution problems along of a stretch of the A6.

An eight week public consultation has begun, which will include drop-in sessions with Harborough Council officials during October and November.

Levels of Nitrogen Dioxide, caused by vehicle fumes, are well above recommended health guidelines on part of Leicester Road.

The plan includes potential junction improvements – to reduce queuing traffic and the installation of automatic monitoring equipment.
