Success For ‘Notes Of Hope’ Campaign
Written by HFM News on 25th September 2018
Signs have been put up on the A14 bridge at Rothwell, in a bid to stop suicides.
Highways England have installed them following mass outcry when so-called ‘notes of hope’ – placed on the railings by a group of friends – were removed, when they were deemed a distraction to drivers.
Four official signs have now gone up – which include contact details for the Samaritans.
Nearly 1,000 people signed a petition calling for signs to be put back up.
