Why Hasn’t Footbridge Been Built After 3 Years?

There are calls for rail bosses to hurry up and build a pedestrian bridge over the tracks in Little Bowden.
It’s now over three years since a light-controlled crossing over the railway was closed, after being deemed a safety risk.
It was used by dozens of people a day, who since then have faced a long diversion route.
The bridge – to link Glebe Road with Braybrooke Road – was given planning permission in 2016.
Network Rail isn’t giving a reason for the continued delay – it’s told HFM it can’t confirm when it will go up.
