Changes To Cottage Hospital Re-Development Plan

Developers have made changes to the proposed building they want to replace Market Harborough’s Cottage Hospital with.
A revised site plan has been handed to the Council by Sterling Rose Care, who want to create a 70-bedroom luxury care home on the Coventry Road site.
The planning application – which retains the World War One Memorial and Portico – is expected to be considered this autumn.
The hospital shut last March, when services relocated to the St Luke’s Treatment Centre and was sold for £1.35m.
