Thousands Expected At Lubenham Scarecrow Festival

Written by on 12th September 2026

One of the area’s most popular community events has returned to Lubenham, with thousands of visitors expected over the weekend.

The annual Lubenham Scarecrow Festival sees dozens of handmade scarecrows displayed around the village, with residents getting creative and decorating displays outside their homes.

The Green will also be at the centre of the festivities, with live music, food and drink and a variety of stalls for visitors to enjoy.

Kelly Parsons, from the organising committee, told HFM the festival is a real community event and supports a host of good causes:

A great tribute to country music legends Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton at this year’s Lubenham Scarecrow Festival.

The event is on between 11am and 6pm today and tomorrow and  festival weekend will also feature the annual Lubenham Art Group painting exhibition.

The exhibition will be held in the Onyx Room at Lubenham Village Hall, where visitors can browse artwork from the group, with drinks and cakes also available to buy.
