Market Harborough Attempted Murder Trial Due To Begin

The trial of a Leicestershire man charged with the attempted murder of another man near Market Harborough is due to begin today.
Henry Gaskin, 21, of Bodkin Row, Oakthorpe, is accused of stabbing a man on Gallow Field Road on July 19th last year.

The charges follow an incident in which a man in his 20s arrived at Market Harborough Police Station shortly after 8pm with a stab wound.
Gaskin denies attempted murder, wounding with intent and two counts of possessing a knife in a public place.
The trial at Leicester Crown Court is expected to last around two weeks.
