Person Dies After Being Hit By Train

A person died after being hit by a train in Great Bowden on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks off Station Road at 11.44am.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers and paramedics attended and sadly a person was pronounced deceased.
“The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
