Funding Boost For Highway Improvements

A plan to invest over £5m in highway and transport improvements in Market Harborough has been given the go-ahead.
Leicestershire County Council’s Cabinet approved the move and schemes will now be drawn up aimed at easing congestion for drivers and boosting active travel.

The majority of the funding has been provided by developers who have built in the town in recent years.
