Parking Payment Upgrade Moves Closer
Written by HFM News on 17th July 2025
New payment machines are set to be installed in Market Harborough’s car parks this autumn.
Harborough District Council has completed the procurement of the new terminals and is now awaiting delivery.

The majority of the new machines will be cashless and enable faster card payments, although at least one in each car park will still accept coins.
The replacement is needed due to the impending 3G network shutdown, which the current machines rely on to operate, and will also see new machines installed in Lutterworth.
