Rousing Reception As Harborough Town Arrive In Spain

Harborough Town players and staff were given a rousing reception when they arrived in Spain today for a pre-season tour.
A group of fans gathered at Madrid airport to salute the team’s arrival and the players joined them in singing a song to show their appreciation.
The Bees have gained a surprisingly strong following in Spain, after teaming up with a media company which live-streams Harborough’s games.
La Media Inglesa (LMI) decided to collaborate with the club after meeting representatives last year.
The tour follows the visit of more than 100 Spaniards to a Harborough home game in April.
Harborough will play a Spanish Select XI made up of recently released players this evening and will attend a ‘meet and greet’ with fans organised by LMI tomorrow.
On Saturday, the Bees will face Spanish third tier side AD Alcorcón, before flying home the next day.
