Market Harborough Wins In-Bloom Contest For 3rd Year Running

Market Harborough has won the East Midlands In Bloom competition for the third year running.
The town’s In Bloom volunteers were crowned winners of the Large Town category of the contest and handed a gold award at the results ceremony in Melton Mowbray this afternoon.

Market Harborough was up against five other towns in the region, with judges visiting in July to look at floral displays and environmental projects.

The town also won extra awards at this afternoon’s results ceremony – Little Bowden Bowls Club was given a Judges Award for its garden and Stamps Funeral Directors in Little Bowden was handed a Gold Award for its floral displays.
