Praise For In Bloom Team After Harborough Wins Contest Again

There is praise for Market Harborough’s In Bloom team after the town won the East Midlands In Bloom competition for the third year running.
The dedicated team of volunteers won the Large Town category of the contest and were handed a gold award at a results ceremony yesterday.

They work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure floral displays are looking good, including in partnership with Harborough District Council contractor FCC in Welland Park.

Competition judges visited to look at floral displays and environmental projects in July and Harborough MP Neil O’Brien has also praised the work of the volunteers:
There is also praise today for volunteers in Lubenham after the village won the Best Village category on the East Midlands in Bloom competition, with a Judges Award for the War Memorial.
