Cannabis Plants Worth Up To £500,000 Found In Harborough Village

A cannabis factory containing over 400 plants with a street value of up to £500,000 has been found by Police in a Harborough village.
The discovery was made in a disused farm building in the village of Walton near Lutterworth yesterday by officers from Harborough and Lutterworth neighbourhood policing team.

No persons were in the building at the time officers went in and a network of grow lamps had been placed across the ceiling, to help the plants grow.
National Grid engineers were also called to the scene to isolate the power supply.
No arrests have yet been made and the plants were recovered.
Police say enquiries are on-going.
