War Memorial Receives Some TLC

Refurbishment work to a significant Market Harborough monument is now underway – and expected to continue for two weeks.
Ahead of Remembrance Day this year, Harborough District Councillors pledged to clean and restore the war memorial on The Square in the town centre after it started showing signs of deterioration.
Scaffolding is in place for the work to be carried out by skilled local stone masons – who are also renewing the main inscription.
