Fleckney Author’s First Book Follows TV Fame

A ‘furniture artist’ from Fleckney is officially launching her first book this evening.

Chloe Kempster was approached by a publisher after she appeared on BBC1’s ‘Money For Nothing’ – a consumer programme which aims to save things from being dumped then transform them into valuable pieces.

Her resulting book ‘Better Than New’ contains items she upcycled and refinished for the series – including her famous floral cabinet – plus many of her other pieces and tips on how to ‘do it yourself’.

Chloe says she’d love to see you at Waterstones in Market Harborough tonight (19th September) from 6.30pm for the official launch…

If you can’t make that one, Chloe will also be at ‘Kibworth Books’ on October 17th for a second launch evening.
