Christmas Tree Arrives In Market Harborough

It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Market Harborough town centre.
The Christmas tree has arrived on The Square today and is being decorated ahead of Saturday’s Christmas Lights switch-on event.

Dozens of giant baubles decorated by local schoolchildren are being placed on the tree, sponsored by Market Harborough Building Society.
Youngsters from Little Bowden, Ridgeway, Meadowdale, St Joseph’s, Church Langton, Great Bowden and Market Harborough C of E Primary schools have been involved in the festive project.
The Switch-On event has previously always been held on a Friday, but is moving to Saturday this year to encourage more people to be part of it.
