Appeal After Masked Gang Attack Man In Desborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a masked gang in Desborough when he was deliberately knocked over.
The rider of an electric bike intentionally drove into the victim as he was walking along Station Road with a woman.
He was then punched and kicked as he lay on the floor by the rider and three or four other men, who were all wearing balaclavas.
The victim, aged in his 30s, suffered a head wound and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The attack happened just before 7pm on Saturday, opposite the King Street junction.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
“Please quote incident number 23000640279 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
