Appeal After Vandals Strike In Town Centre

Police are appealing for information after vandals struck in Market Harborough town centre.
A number of plants and planters on The Square were damaged and glass was left strewn across the area, after bottles were smashed.
It happened at around 11.30pm on Monday and officers say one suspect has already been identified.
Cllr Phil Knowles, leader of Harborough District Council has hit out at those responsible and urged anyone with information to contact the police:

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Officers are investigating a report of damage in The Square in Market Harborough.
“One suspect was subsequently identified and spoken to by officers.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the report.”
A Harborough District Council spokesperson said: “The police are dealing with this investigation and the council condemns any criminal damage to property.”
