The road has since re-opened to traffic, although an area at the junction with Coventry Road remains cordoned off.
A council spokesperson told HFM: “The emergency closure on Logan Street was made for public safety, following the subsidence of part of the road.
“Investigations undertaken to date suggest there is an ongoing drainage issue, and Anglian Water has been informed.
“We will continue to liaise with Anglian Water and hope to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible.”
