Warning After Distraction Burglary In Rothwell

Police are urging people to be vigilant after a distraction burglary in Rothwell.
It happened when a man called at the home of a 78-year-old woman, claiming work needed to be carried on the roof, and then entered without permission.
The incident took place at around 10.30am on Thursday (June 29th) in High Hill Avenue.
Northamptonshire Police believe there may have been other similar incidents in the area around the same time.
The man was described as white and in his 50’s, with grey hair, wearing dark jeans and a black T-Shirt with a logo.
He was driving a silver Citroen Berlingo van, with ladders on the top.
