‘Heartless’ Thieves Are Stealing Milk From Doorsteps In Desborough

Thieves are stealing bottles of milk from doorsteps in Desborough in the middle of the night.
They have been targeting homes on the Grange Estate, just after the milkman has made deliveries.
The latest thefts happened during snowfall in the early hours of Monday, when bottles were taken from outside several homes.
CCTV footage from outside one house shows a man stealing the milk, with two other men standing close-by.

Sue Johnston had three pints stolen from her doorstep on Violet Close just before 3am on Monday.
She told Hfm although it may seem trivial, people like her who are shielding, rely on the deliveries:
Police are encouraging people who has had milk stolen to report it to them.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told Hfm: “If you have been a victim of this type of theft, we would always encourage you to report it to us by ringing 101 or by reporting it online at www.northants.police.uk/ro
“If you have any pertinent CCTV footage or dash cam footage, please include this in your report.”
