Vaccine Roll-Out Continues At Pace
Written by HFM News on 5th February 2021
More than 148,000 people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have now received at least one Covid-19 vaccination.
87% of those aged 80 and over and 73% aged 75 to 79 have had the jab, according to latest NHS England figures.
In Northamptonshire, around 90% of people in both those groups have been vaccinated, with 106,845 doses administered since the scheme began in December.
Figures are not available on a more local level, although around 4,000 jabs have been given in Market Harborough, to patients registered with the Medical Centre on Coventry Road and Husbands Bosworth Medical Centre – with nearly all those aged 80 having now received at least one jab.
Another vaccination clinic is taking place at the Medical Centre this weekend.
