Has Part Of King Henry VIII’s Lost Crown Been Found Near Harborough?

What is thought to be the centrepiece jewel of King Henry VIII’s lost crown has turned up in a field near Market Harborough – 400 years after it went missing.
Kevin Duckett from Fleckney discovered the tiny gold and enamel figure while using his metal detector in fields near Little Oxendon.
He found it in 2017, but it is only now, after extensive research, he is confident it is such a valuable piece of history.
The figure, depicting Henry VI, is now being studied by experts at the British Museum and going through the so-called ‘treasure trove’ process.
If genuine, it could mean a huge payout for Kevin and the landowner.
