People Urged To Stay Safe At Play Areas

Written by on 11th January 2021

Harborough District Council has clarified play areas and skate parks remain open during the lockdown, in-line with national guidance.

Signs have gone up encouraging people to respect social distancing, keep to household bubbles and practise good hygiene, like using personal hand sanitisers.

Council officers are also patrolling the sites, to ensure they are being correctly.

Multi-use games areas owned by the Council are closed, together with tennis courts and some picnic benches in Welland Park have been closed off, as people were congregating there.
