Over 1,600 More Covid-19 Vaccinations In Market Harborough

Written by on 11th January 2021

Over 1,600 people had a Covid-19 vaccination during a three-day clinic at Market Harborough Medical Centre.

Just under 1,000 had their second and final Pfizer jab on Friday and Saturday and others were given their first dose yesterday.

The majority of the injections were given to people aged 80 and over, which is the first age group to be inoculated against coronavirus.

The first vaccination clinic was held before Christmas and the Medical Centre has been told by the NHS it is likely to be able to hold weekly vaccination sessions going forward, although details are still to be confirmed.
