Appeal After Youths Hurl Eggs At Passing Cars

Written by on 30th November 2020

Police are hunting a gang of youths who threw eggs at moving cars in Market Harborough last night.

A number of vehicles were struck between 6.45pm and 10pm on the High Street, Church Square and Welland Park Road.

Officers who were sent to search the area believe they found the group responsible, but they ran-off before they could be spoken to.

One man whose car was targeted, who didn’t want to be named, told Hfm he is worried someone could easily lose control of their vehicle and crash, because of the shock of an egg striking it.
