Arrests After Large Shipment Of Cannabis Intercepted

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of importing a Class B drug after Harborough Police raided a house in Broughton Astley this morning.

Officers say they acted after being alerted by Border Force officials, who had intercepted after a package containing cannabis worth £85,000.

A man, aged 46, and a woman, aged 49, are being questioned, after a warrant under the misuse of drugs act was executed at a house in Ambergate Close.
