Search For Owner Of Ponies Taken Into Care Of Police

Police are searching for the owner of ten ponies that were found loose on Great Oxendon Road in Arthingworth.

The black and white animals were rounded up by officers and taken away to be cared for, as they were causing a danger to road users.

Police were called just after 9pm last Friday and a spokesperson for the Northamptonshire force told Hfm: “The ponies were rescued and are now being cared for by a contractor on behalf of the police, however we are appealing for the owner to get in touch with us, or anyone who may know who the ponies belong to.
