Crews from Market Harborough, Kibworth, Wigston and Uppingham were called to the stack fire, in a field off Main Street, at 3.45am today and remain at the scene damping down.

There have been a number of deliberately-started straw bale fires in the Harborough area in the past few weeks – the cause of this morning’s blaze is under investigation.
