Plans for a new ‘Well-Being’ centre in Market Harborough are progressing.
The Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity is working with LOROS with a view to building it on land adjacent to its allotments site on Northampton Road.

The centre would be built off Northampton Road if it goes ahead
It would offer services to people with terminal illness, without them having to travel to the main hospice in Leicester.
Charity chairman Adrian Trotter says although things are looking positive, the coronavirus pandemic is delaying the plan slightly:
A feasibility study into the idea is also looking at whether space could also be created within the centre to provide affordable housing for keyworkers.
The charity is urging other charities who would be interested in using such a building to contact them.
