Plan Revealed For ‘Wellbeing’ Centre In Market Harborough

A new ‘Wellbeing Centre’ could be built in Market Harborough.
The Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity is working with the LOROS Hospice, with a view to creating the facility on land adjacent to its allotments site on Northampton Road.
The hospice has been looking for a base in town for sometime, so it can offer some of its services to people with terminal illness without them having to travel to their main site in Leicester.

A feasibility study into the idea is also looking at whether space could also be created within the centre to provide affordable housing for keyworkers.
Adrian Trotter, Chairman of the Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity, spoke to Hfm:
