Market Harborough’s Memorial Gardens will be locked up overnight to stop anti-social behaviour.

It follows an incident earlier this month when someone defecated against a wall next to a ‘Tommy’ soldier silhouette, which led to widespread repulsion,

The two entrances will be padlocked between 6pm and 7am, although there will be some flexibility during the Remembrance period, when events like a sunset ceremony are held.
