Council Acts To ‘Protect’ Land In Little Bowden
Written by HFM News on 28th May 2020
Harborough Council has acted to ensure no work can take place until it considers a controversial planning application to use land in Little Bowden as a private dog walking field.
It has served an ‘Immediate Article 4 Direction’ notice on the land off Braybrooke Road, which removes certain permitted development rights, meaning no gates, fences or walls can be put up.
Planning permission is not usually needed for that.

The Council says it’s taken to action to help to protect the character and appearance of the area.
Over 60 people have objected to the plan to use the land as a dog walking area.
