A Harborough man who survived a battle with Coronavirus says Boris Johnson will be receiving the best care possible.
Hylton Murray-Philipson spent five days fighting for his life in the intensive care unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary last week – but is now home.
Similar to the Prime Minister, the 61-year-old from Blaston was ill for ten days, before he was admitted to hospital.
Hylton told Hfm the care he received was amazing and his recovery shows that people can beat the virus:
There is praise today for Council staff locally who are working hard on the front-line and behind the scenes during the pandemic.
Those in social care, providing help and support to the elderly, vulnerable and families, through to bin collection teams who continue to work across Harborough are among those being thanks.

David Wilson Homes is donating just under 800 new face masks from its building sites across Harborough to frontline NHS staff fighting the coronavirus outbreak.
Usually used by the housebuilder’s site teams to protect them from dust and fumes, they are being given to doctors and nurses at Leicester’s Hospitals.
The masks have been accumulated at sites including Fleckney Fields in Fleckney, Burnmill Grange in Market Harborough and in Kibworth.
John Reddington, managing director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: “The donation of high quality FFP3 protective masks from our site teams will hopefully help NHS employees to continue the admirable work they do on a daily basis.”
With people confined to their homes for much of the day at the moment, fun activities are taking place in streets in Market Harborough to bring residents together – at a safe distance of course.
In Roundhill Close on the Ashley Way estate they’ve been dancing outside their houses at set times to songs like YMCA, and in Haddonian Road, off Lathkill Street, resident Amy Hillier is hosting a weekly bingo session from her doorstep, with the aid of a megaphone.
