Residents Ditch Management Firm To Run Things Themselves

Residents on Market Harborough’s Farndon Fields estate have finally ditched a management company they accused of charging ‘extortionate’ rates, so they can run things themselves.

They have formed a residents’ association to take-over the upkeep of some communal areas and open spaces, after some homeowners saw their bills rise from £20 a year to nearly £600.

Lara Raffaelli, who spearheaded the campaign, told Hfm they will be able to get things done much cheaper:
