Good GCSE Results In Harborough

Market Harborough students are celebrating good GCSE results today.

At the Robert Smyth Academy the results are the best in four years, with nearly three-quarters of students achieving at least five top grades and 250 individual grades were A star and A – or 9 to 7 in the new number grades, which is double the amount last year.

Meanwhile, it was the second set of GCSE results at Welland Park Academy and they improved on last year,  with the majority of students making positive progress and all curriculum areas celebrated a number of students securing a grade 8 or 9, the highest possible at GCSE.

At The Kibworth School over 84% of all students gained a grade 4+ GCSE for combined English and Maths, and 57% achieved grades 5+ in both subjects, considerably higher than national performance data.
