Future Of Bus Services Remains Unknown

The future of three under threat bus services will not be known until the end of the year.

Leicestershire County Council had been due to announce the results of a review into the subsidised routes this month, but the announcement is now likely in December.

It placed the number 33 town service in Market Harborough, 44, that links the town with Foxton and Fleckney, and the 58 that runs between Market Harborough and Lutterworth ‘at risk’ earlier this year.

In the meantime, contracts for the services will be extended.

The review across the County is aimed at saving £400,000 a year.
